ALLIANCE, Ohio—The Mount Union track and field team ended the regular season hosting the Mount Union Last Chance Meet at Kehres Stadium on Thursday afternoon.
Logan Butcher won the 400-Meters in a time of 47.24 which ranks him tied for 19th in Division III and possibly qualifying him for the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships next weekend.
Yahir Hill finished second in the 400-Meters with a time of 48.02.
Ryan McVicker finished second in the shot put with a toss of 53-feet 10.5-inches which has him 24th in Division III.
Tex Malloy,
Vinny Zeren,
Haden Gibson and
Ryder Greenwood took the top spot in the 4x100-Meter relay with a time of 41.34.
Nick Franitti took second in the 110-Meter hurdles running a 14.72 and second in the 400-Meter hurdles with a 54.93.
Curtis Joppeck ran an 1:52.26 I the 800-Meters finishing second overall.
Caleb Cabrera took second in the 5,000-Meters with a 16:15.19.
Xavier Neal finished second in the triple jump with a leap of 45-feet 7-inches.
On the women's side
Madeline Burgess picked up the victory in the triple jump with a leap of 37-feet 5.25-inches.
Gianini Venuto finished second in the 1,500-Meters with a time of 4:$9.83.
Carlie Besecker ran a 57.63 in the 400-Meters finishing second overall.
De'Aunee Thompson finished second in the 400-Meter hurdles with a time of 1:03.93.
Mount Union now will head to Geneva, Ohio at the Spire Institute for the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Nationals next Thursday through Saturday.
