ALLIANCE, Ohio—The Mount Union men's track and field team hosted the Raider Tune up Friday night at the McPherson Academic and Athletic Complex.
The Purple Raiders grabbed a win and 10 top five finishes.
Mount Union took four of the top five spots in the 500-Meters as
Nick Scherson (1
st 1:06.66), Isaac Pittman (2
nd 1:06.87),
Ty Pratt (3
rd 1:07.09) and
Aidan Gray (5
th 1:08.07).
Brailon Wilcox went sub 23 in the 200-Meters finishing second overall with a time of 22.83.
Marek France finished second in the 1,000-Meters with a time of 2:36.48.
Colton Hanlon grabbed third in the pole vault with a leap of 15-feet 1.75-inches.
Josh Fouche and
Calil McCray finished third and fourth in the 400-Meters with times of 52.04 and 52.33.
Jalen Randleman finished fifth in the 3,000-Meters with a time of 9:17.65.
Xavier Neal took home fifth in the triple jump with a leap of 41-feet 9.75-inches.
The Raiders will now head into the post season heading to Ada, Ohio next Friday and Saturday to compete in Ohio Athletic Conference Track and Field Championship.
