ALLIANCE, Ohio—The Mount Union Men's Track and Field team started the season off strong hosting the Mount Union Toy Drive Meet Saturday afternoon.
 
Ryder Greenwood led the top three Purple Raiders in the 60-Meters with a time of 6.85. Aidan Malloy finished second with Brailon Wilcox taking third with times of 6.96 and 7.04.
 
Greenwood then got the win in the 200-Meters leading the top four spots to Mount Union with a time of 22.31. Haden Gibson finished second with a 22.75 and Wilcox took third with a 23.01.
 
Malloy led the way in the long jump winning with a leap of 22-feet .25-inches while Jesse Kilgore and Isaac Pittman finished second and third with jumps of 21-feet 7.25-inches and 21-feet 4-inches.
 
Pittman won the 400-Meters with a time of 50.93 while Calil McCray took third with a 51.96.
 
Ryan McVicker won the shot put with a throw of 51-feet 10.5-inches while finishing second in the weight throw with a toss of 51-feet 8.5-inches.
 
Austin Olinger finished second in the 60-Meter hurdles with an 8.75.
 
Ty Pratt finished second in the 800-Meters with a time of 2:02.94.
 
Colton Hanlon finished third in the pole vault with a jump of 14-feet .5-inches.
 
Cedric Mays finished third in the triple jump with a leap of 40-feet 4.25-inches.
 
Mount Union will now wait till after the Christmas break to compete again heading to the Muskingum Meet 1 on Saturday, January 18th.
