AKRON, Ohio – Mount Union's women's swimming and diving team finished in third place after the second day of the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships at Ocasek Natatorium at the University of Akron on Friday evening.
The Purple Raiders finished with a team score of 408 which is just 13.5 points behind second place Baldwin Wallace. John Carroll leads the event with a team score of 674.
All-OAC Finishers
- 400-yard individual medley: senior Emma Kreber (Cranberry Twp., Pa. / Seneca Valley) finished third with a time of 4:46.16
- 200-yard freestyle: junior Abby Calaway (Berea / Berea-Midpark) won the event and broke her own OAC record and the school record with a time of 1:52.97
- 100-yard breaststroke: freshman Riley McCombs (New Middletown / Springfield Local) won the event with a time of 1:07.32

The Raiders return to action tomorrow for the final day of the OAC Championships at Ocasek Natatorium in Akron with prelims beginning at 10 a.m., diving at 2 p.m. and finals at 5:30 p.m.
