Women's Swimming: Four Raiders Selected to CSC Academic All-District® Team

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Mount Union's women's swimming and diving team had four swimmers named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® team.

Seniors Emma Kreber (Cranberry Twp., Pa. / Seneca Valley), Emily Hauck (Avon Lake), Shawna Gordon (Manhattan, Ill. / Lincoln Way West) and junior Isabelle Parr (Brunswick) were all named.

Kreber is an accounting major with a 3.73 GPA. She was a member of the 800-yard freestyle relay team that finished second at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships, she finished second and grabbed All-OAC honors in the 500-yard freestyle and grabbed All-OAC honors with a third-place finish in the 400-yard individual medley. Kreber was also the OAC Champion in the 1650-yard freestyle this season.

Hauck is a middle childhood education major with a 3.71 GPA. She was also a member of the 800-yard freestyle relay team that took home All-OAC honors this season and was also a member of the 400-yard freestyle relay OAC Championship team.

Parr is a psychology major with a 3.58 GPA. She was a member of the 800-yard freestyle relay team that took second at the OAC Championships and was a member of the OAC Champion 400-yard freestyle relay team.

Gordon is an Art and Spanish double major with a 3.73 GPA.  

The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 22, 2025 (women) and April 23, 2025 (men).

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
