ALLIANCE, Ohio – Mount Union's women's swimming and diving team defeated Westminster 169-89 in a non-conference matchup on Senior Day on Saturday afternoon.

Shawna Gordon (Manhattan, Ill. / Lincoln Way West),
Sydney Grzinic (Willoughby / Willoughby South),
Emily Hauck (Avon Lake),
Emma Kreber (Cranberry Twp., Pa. / Seneca Valley) and
Mia Marciano (Austintown / Austintown Fitch) were all honored for Senior Night.
Top Finishers
- 200-yard medley relay: team consisting of junior Abby Calaway (Berea / Berea-Midpark), freshman Riley McCombs (New Middletown / Springfield Local), junior Kayla Stewart (Marietta) and junior Isabelle Parr (Brunswick) won the event with a time of 1:55.92 and the team consisting of Grzinic, sophomore Hannah Royer (Bristow, Va. / Patriot), junior Nina Veldt (Holland, Mich.) and Hauck finished second with a time of 2:01.27
- 1000-yard freestyle: Kreber won the event with a time of 11:16.82
- 200-yard freestyle: McCombs and Hauck finished first and second with times of 2:07.89 and 2:08.10 respectively
- 100-yard backstroke: Grzinic won the event with a time of 1:07.33
- 100-yard breaststroke: Royer won the event with a time of 1:14.69
- 200-yard butterfly: Stewart won the event with a time of 2:26.98 with freshman Lizzie Sonntag (Amherst / Marion L. Steele) and Gordon finishing second and third with times of 2:28.26 and 2:38.89 respectively
- 50-yard freestyle: Parr won the event with a time of 25.81
- 100-yard freestyle: Hauck won the event with a time of 58.50
- 200-yard backstroke: Calaway and Grzinic finished first and second with times of 2:15.52 and 2:26.18 respectively
- 200-yard breaststroke: Royer, junior Olivia Smith (Cuyahoga Falls) and Kreber finished first, second and third with times of 2:44.07, 2:48.59 and 2:50.17 respectively
- 500-yard freestyle: Parr finished second with a time of 5:51.40
- 100-yard butterfly: Veldt and Sonntag finished first and second with times of 1:05.48 and 1:06.66 respectively
- One-meter dive: Marciano won the event with a score of 156.22
- 200-yard individual medley: Calaway finished first with a time of 2:17.65 and McCombs finished second with a time of 2:26.52
- 200-yard freestyle relay: team consisting of Kreber, Fogarty, Gordon and Hauck finished first with a time of 1:49.02
The Raiders return to action on Wednesday, February 12 for the first day of the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships at Ocasek Natatorium at the University of Akron.
