LEXINGTON, Kentucky—Junior middle hitter Michael Bowler (Broadview Heights / Brecksville-Broadview Heights) was named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Revigon IV All-Region Team.
 
Bowler was recently named the Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League Offensive player of the year which was just the second Mount Union men's volleyball player to be named and now also being named to the All-Region team will be the second in program history.
 
Bowler led Mount Union in hitting percentage at .405 which was good for 17th in the country and blocks with 76 total. Bowler was second on the team in kills and kills per set with 259 and 2.62.
 
Each of the four region teams includes 14 players, and a Player of the Year, Newcomer of the Year, and Coach of the Year were selected for each region. The 56 student-athletes who made All-Region represent 27 different schools.
