INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA -- The University of Mount Union will travel to Kenosha, Wisconsin to take on No. 3 nationally-ranked Springfield College in the first round of the 2025 NCAA Division III Men's Volleyball Tournament Friday, April 18th, at 4 CT/ 5 ET hosted by Carthage College.

The Purple Raiders are 20-8 overall and won their second Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League title to claim one of 14 automatic bids to the tournament.

This is the second time Mount Union will be in the NCAA Tournament. Mount Union took on Carthage in 2022 who eventually became the National Champions that season. Mount Union dropped the match 25-20, 25-16, 25-20.

Springfield, located in Springfield, Massachusetts is 22-4 overall and making its 11th straight NCAA Playoff appearance earning one of the five bids handed out to non-conference champions and independents

The Pride have a 24-6 record in the NCAA Playoffs with their last appearance being a five-set loss to Juniata. Springfield has won a record five NCAA Division III Men's Volleyball Titles in the years 2018, 2017, 2014, 2013 and 2012.

This will be the first meeting between the teams.

The winner of this game will take on the winner of a matchup between No. 6 Carthage and No. 11 Aurora Saturday, April 19th at a time to be announced at Kenosha, Wisconsin.
