ALLIANCE, Ohio – Mount Union's women's swimming and diving team defeated Saint Vincent 153-109 in a dual meet on Saturday afternoon.
Top Finishers
- 200-yard medley relay: team consisting of freshman Jordyn Miller (Strongsville), freshman Charlotte Cohagan (Parma / Padua Franciscan), junior Maddie Horrigan (Hudson) and freshman Isabelle Parr (Brunswick) won the event with a time of 1:56.28
- 1000-yard freestyle: sophomore Emma Kreber (Cranberry Twp., Pa. / Seneca Valley) won the event with a time of 11:15.35
- 200-yard freestyle: freshman Abby Calaway (Berea / Berea-Midpark) won the event with a time of 1:57.85
- 100-yard backstroke: senior Alexis Schuller (Middleburg Heights / Berea-Midpark) finished second with a time of 1:02.51
- 200-yard butterfly: freshman Nina Veldt (Holland, Mich.) won the event with a time of 2:20.99 and Parr finished second with a time of 2:27.49
- 100-yard freestyle: Calaway won the event with a time of 54.28
- 200-yard backstroke: Schuller won the event with a time of 2:15.86
- 500-yard freestyle: Calaway won the event with a time of 5:24.48 and Kreber finished second with a time of 5:32.37
- 100-yard butterfly: Horrigan won the event with a time of 1:02.06 and Veldt finished second with a time of 1:03.49
- 200-yard individual medley: Cohagan finished second with a time of 2:23.58
- 400-yard freestyle relay: team consisting of Schuller, Parr, Horrigan and Calaway won the event with a time of 3:43.56
The Raiders return to action on Wednesday, February 15 for the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships at 6 p.m. in Akron.
