The Mount Union comeback continued in the second quarter with a 4-0 run as Madi Karr (Newark Del., Newark Charter), Kessler, Sam Karr and the final goal by Clark gave the Raiders their first lead of the game, 7-6, with 2:11 left in the half. John Carroll scored two more times in the last 1:38 of the period to take an 8-7 lead at the break.

John Carroll started the second half much like the first with a 5-0 run to lead 13-7 with 10:40 left in the third quarter. Mount Union again tried to rally as Sam Karr scored a pair of goals in a span of 1:19 to make it 13-9. Madi Karr scored with 5:44 left in the third to get the Raiders back within three at 13-10. Bumbarger made it a 4-0 Raider run with a score and closed the gap to 13-11. The Streaks stopped the run with a pair of scores and led 15-11 after three quarters.

Mount Union started the fourth quarter on a 3-1 surge as Bumbarger, Kesler and Julia Bates (East Lyme, Conn.) scored, and it was 16-14 John Carroll with 7:16 to play. The Streaks put the game away with a 6-0 run and went on to the 22-14 victory.
