MARSHALL, Mich. – Mount Union's women's golf team finished in 10
th place after the first round of the Kyle Campbell Memorial Tournament at The Medalist Golf Club on Friday afternoon.
The Purple Raiders finished with a team score of 365 which is just six strokes behind ninth place Albion. Kalamazoo leads the event with a team score of 329.
Junior
Emma Packard (Ashland) led the way for Mount Union, finishing in sixth place overall with an 80. Junior
Amanda Fedor (Uniontown / Lake) also carded a round in the 80s, finishing with an 89. Junior
Larisa Golembiewski (Macedonia / Nordonia) and freshman
Mya Downing (Dover) rounded out the Raiders team score with a 95 and 101 respectively.
The Raiders are back in action tomorrow for the final round of the Kyle Campbell Memorial Tournament at The Medalist G.C. in Marshall, Mich.
