WESTERVILLE, Ohio—Senior
Stephen Ulrich (Louisville) took home the Otterbein Invite victory Saturday morning to help lead Mount Union to a second-place team finish.
Ulrich covered the 8-kilometer course in a time of 25:38.70 winning by three seconds.
Junior
Liam Blake (Alliance / Marlington) finished seventh overall in a time of 26:10.74 good for second on the team.
Junior
Caleb Cabrera (Amherst / Steele) and senior Matthew Tschantz () finished side by side with times of 26:30.10 and 26:32.87 good for 11th and 12th overall.
Senior
Jake Parkhurst (Medina) finished 19th overall with a time of 26:47.91 to round out the team scoring.
Junior
Cohen Boyce (Alliance / Marlington) and junior
Jimmy Mooney (Chargin Falls) finished on the scoring team for Mount Union with times of 27:01.84 and 27:20.89.
Mount Union finished with a team score of 46 while the hosts Otterbein won the meet with 39 points.
Mount Union will next compete at the OWU Invite (October 3rd) or the Live in Lou Classic (October 4th).
