TIFFIN, Ohio—Mount Union's men's lacrosse team dominated Heidelberg 25-2 Saturday afternoon in Ohio Athletic Conference play.
The Purple Raiders (10-4, 4-3 OAC) were led by
Grant Dunmire with three goals and two assists while
Spencer Logsdon finished the game with three goals.
Mount Union finished the day with 14 total scorers as
Aiden Mays,
Mark Zusman,
Talon Osmun,
Liam Erwin,
Braylon Li,
Todd Siford and
Sly Sundown each scored two goals.
Alex Nicholas,
Noah Grigson,
Alec Feigel,
Sean Hanson and
Gavin Loughrie each scored one goal.
Mount Union went a combined 27 of 31 from the face off with Nicholas,
Logan North and
Nikolai Lopatka each got called on.
Alec Blazer had three caused turnovers while Grigson had eight ground balls.
Mount Union had three goalies, take shifts as
Logan Gunderman started with no goals and no saves,
Dylan Rondeau played 30 minutes allowing one goal and making one save, and
William Entner played 15 minutes making three saves and allowing one goal.
Heidelberg (3-11, 0-7 OAC) was led by Tyler Alexander and Benjamin Evans with one goal each while Wilson Runnette sat in goal making 17 saves.
Mount Union will now prepare for senior day on Friday, April 18
th hosting Capital at 1 PM.
