FINDLAY, Ohio— The trio of junior
Stephen Ulrich (Louisville), and seniors
Nick Wong (Akron / Hoban) and
Alex Reese (Geneva) earned First Team All-OAC honors placing seventh, eighth and ninth at the Ohio Athletic Conference Cross Country Championship Saturday afternoon at Hillcrest Golf Course.
The Purple Raiders finished runners-up with a score of 61 points while John Carroll won the meet with a total of 26 points.
Ulrich finished with a time of 24:59.4, Wong finished in 24:59.7 and Reese finished with 25:03.3.
Finishing out the top five for Mount Union was junior
Jake Parkhurst (Medina) 25:30.2 and
Liam Blake (Alliance / Marlington) 25:34.1 earning Second team All-OAC placing 18
th and 19
th.
Rounding out the top seven for Mount Union was sophomore
Tyler Kohlmann (Huron) placing 23
rd with a 25:46.7 and junior Matthew Tschantz (Canton / GlenOak) with a 25:57.3 for 35
th.
Mount Union will now get ready for the Great Lakes Regional on Saturday, November 16th in Franklin, Indiana at the Blue River Cross Country Course.
