Women's Swimming and Diving: Raiders Suffer Home Loss to Wooster

ALLIANCE, Ohio -- Mount Union's women's swimming and diving team fell to Wooster College 159-129 Saturday afternoon at Hammond Natatorium.

Leading the way for the Purple Raiders was freshman Lindsey Collins (Uniontown/Massillon Jackson) who recorded victories in the 50-yard and 100-yard freestyle. Collins was also a member of the 200-yard freestyle relay that clocked a first-place time of 1:42.81 with fellow classmates Aurelia Incristi (Rockwall, Tex./Rockwall), Erika Drager (Berea/Berea-Midpark) and junior Elise Pichola (Rocky River). 

Additional victories for Mount Union came from senior Lauren Oktavec (Brunswick) in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:12.76. 

The Raiders remain at home facing Westminster (Pa.) next Saturday, Feb. 2 for Senior Day with a 1 p.m. start time at Hammond Natatorium.
