The Purple Raiders moved to 21-3 overall and 14-3 in the OAC.  Mount Union can lock up a share of the OAC regular season title and clinch the No. 1 seed in the OAC Tournament with a win in the regular season finale this Saturday at 4:30 pm at Capital.

Junior center Lauren Forquer (North Canton/Green) had 13 points and freshman point guard Rosa LaMattina (Westlake/Westlake) also chipped in with 11 points for the Raiders.

Hannah Nelson scored 17 points and led the way for a Muskingum squad that drops to 8-16 on the year and 3-14 within the OAC.

Mount Union held Muskingum scoreless for the 4:30 of the contest and took a 30-28 lead into  into halftime. 

The Muskies rallied to tie the score at 35-35 on a pair of Nelson free throws at the 17:16 mark.  Mount Union responded with a 12-4 run capped off by a jumper by Kori Weidt at the 10:38 mark that put the score at 47-39.  The Raiders would prove too much down the stretch and went on to the 65-55 final.
