Williams enters his first year as an assistant coach for the men's and women's swimming and diving team at Mount Union.
Williams was a four year letterwinner as a swimmer at Mount Union, where he was a multiple time All-OAC finisher, OAC Champion and hold school records in the 400-yard individual medley, 400-yard freestyle relay and 800-yard freestyle relay. He was also a three time Academic All-OAC selection and was named to the CSC Academic All-District team in 2022-23.
A native of Columbia, S.C. and graduate of South Carolina Connections Academy, earned his bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a minor in Computer and Network Security from Mount Union in 2023, he was also the winner of the 2023 UMU Computer Science Alumni prize. He has also previously served as the head swimming coach at Alliance Country Club and as an assistant coach for the Columbia YMCA Swim Club.Â
