ALLIANCE, Ohio – Mount Union's women's golf team finished tied for second at the Mount Union Fall Invitational on Sunday afternoon at Tannenhauf G.C.
The Purple Raiders finished with a team score of 334 which was four strokes ahead of third place Heidelberg. Ashland won the event with a team score of 312.
Junior
Emma Packard (Ashland) led the way for Mount Union, carding a 78 and finishing in third place overall. Junior
Amanda Fedor (Uniontown / Lake) and freshman
Mya Downing (Dover) both carded rounds in the 80s, shooting 82 and 83 respectively. Junior
Larisa Golembiewski (Macedonia / Nordonia) rounded out the Raiders team score with a 91.
The Raiders return to action on Friday, September 12 for the Heidelberg Fall Invitational at Fostoria C.C. in Findlay.
