ALLIANCE, Ohio—The Mount Union women's volleyball team fell at home to John Carroll 25-22, 22-25, 13-25, and 19-25 on Wednesday night.
The Purple Raiders (7-8) were led by
Sadie Thomas (Cambridge Springs, Pa. / Maplewood) and
Molly McKee (North Ridgeville) with 14 and 11 kills.
DeLani Durst (Clyde) finished the match with 23 assists with
Averi Haley (Orrville) and Thomas grabbing double digit digs with 16 and 13.
John Carroll (9-6) was led by Kendra Dziubinski and Mary Kate Sheean with 11 kills, Tess Humphrey finished with 21 assists and Natalie Glowe finished with 16 digs.
Mount Union will return to play on Saturday with a double header at Hiram taking on St. Vincent at 3 pm and Hiram at 5 pm.
