WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio – Mount Union's men's golf team finished in sixth place after the final round at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championship at River Greens G.C. on Sunday afternoon.
The Purple Raiders finished with a team score of 912 (306-303-303) which was just three shots back of fifth place Capital. John Carroll won the event with a team score of 884 (291-294-299).
Sophomore
Brian Myers (Wadsworth) led the way for Mount Union, shooting 217 (73-73-71) which put him in third place overall and earned All-OAC honors. Senior
Owen Hinkle (Loudonville) added 228 (75-74-79), while freshmen
Vincent Borros (Strongsville) and
Thomas Pesa (Youngstown / Ursuline) rounded out the Raiders team score with a 231 (77-77-77) and 238 (83-79-76) respectively.
