Men's Lacrosse: Strong First Half Not Enough in Loss to Baldwin Wallace

ALLIANCE, Ohio—The Mount Union men's lacrosse team had a strong first half but ultimately fell 22-13 to Baldwin Wallace on Wednesday night in Ohio Athletic Conference play.
 
The Purple Raiders (8-3, 2-2 OAC) were led by Spencer Logsdon (Akron / Archbishop Hoban) with three goals and three assists while Talon Osmun (Mattawan, Mich. / Mattawan) scored three goals.
 
Mark Zusman (Willoughby / Willoughby South) and Grant Dunmire (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Hampton) each scored two goals while Liam Erwin (Victor, N.Y. / Victor Senior), Braylon Li (Richfield / Revere) and Alec Feigel (Pittsburgh, PA / North Hills) each had a goal.
 
AJ Green (Cleveland / Benedictine) led the team in caused turnovers with two while Logan Gunderman (Buffalo, N.Y. / Hamburg) was in goal making 16 saves.
 
Baldwin Wallace (8-4, 4-0 OAC) was led by Bennet Trout, Caleb Fox and Reichen Geiselhart with three goals each. Paxton Allison led the team in caused turnovers with two while Samuel LoPiccolo made five saves in goal.
 
Baldwin Wallace outscored Mount Union 6-to-4 in the first quarter with Logsdon scoring two goals while Osmun and Zusman each scored one goal.
 
The second quarter Mount Union tied the game up at eight outscoring Baldwin Wallace 4-to-2. Osmun, Li, Dunmire and Zusman each had a goal in the quarter.
 
Over the final two quarters Baldwin Wallace outscored Mount Union 14-5 taking the victory as Osmun, Dunmire, Feigel, Logsdon and Erwin scored.
 
Mount Union will head onto the road now taking on Otterbein Saturday in Westerville at 1 PM.
