GROVE CITY, Pennsylvania—Mount Union's women's lacrosse used a strong final three quarters to take a 19-8 victory over Grove City Saturday afternoon.
The Purple Raiders (10-4) were led by
Eden Kesler with six goals and an assist and
Ella Nejad with six goals.
Katie Clark led the team in assists with seven total and scoring three goals.
Reese Fuenfstueck finished the game with three goals while
Liz Schumacher scored a goal for Mount Union.
Kesler led the team with four ground balls,
Tara Santoro finished the game with four caused turnovers and
Abby Lindkvist finished the game in goal with five saves.
Grove City (8-6) was led by Gwen Shilling with three goals and Elyse Kiggins in goal with two saves.
Mount Union will now travel to Bexley taking on Capital in a rematch of last year's Ohio Athletic Conference Championship on Friday at 1 PM.
