WOOSTER, Ohio – Mount Union's men's swimming and diving team finished in second place following the final day at the Wooster Invitational on Saturday evening.
The Purple Raiders finished with a team score of 1690 which was 226 points ahead of third place Wooster. Rose-Hulman won the event with a team score of 1730.
Top Finishers
- 100-yard individual medley: freshman Trey Nickoli (Lexington) finished third with a time of 54.77
- 200-yard backstroke: senior Jacob Hathaway (Lexington) won the event with a time of 1:50.59
- 100-yard freestyle: freshman Ethan Harvey (Macedonia / St. Ignatius) won the event with a time of 45.86 and senior Lucas Starling (Lexington) finished third with a time of 46.24
- 200-yard breaststroke: Nickoli finished fourth with a time of 2:07.93
- 200-yard butterfly: freshman Isaac Tennant (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Moon) finished third with a time of 1:58.04
- 400-yard freestyle relay: team consisting of Harvey, Tennant, Starling and Hathaway won the event with a time of 3:05.91
