Men's Soccer: Raiders to Host Baldwin Wallace in OAC Tournament Quarterfinal - GAME PREVIEW

No. 4 seed Mount Union will host No. 5 seed Baldwin Wallace in the Quarterfinals of the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Tournament on Tuesday, November 4 at 7 p.m. in Alliance.

The Purple Raiders (12-2-4, 5-1-2 OAC) are led offensively by the trio of junior Alex Depperschmidt (Mansfield / Lexington), junior Dom Kustura (Willowick / Eastlake North) and sophomore Amir Spratt (Kent / Kent Roosevelt), Depperschmidt leads the way with 10 goals, with Spratt and Kustura close behind at right and seven goals respectively. The defense is anchored by senior duo AJ Jaber (Massillon / Massillon Jackson) and Aiden Strand-Fox (Wooster).

The Yellow Jackets (7-11-2, 3-4-1 OAC) are led offensively by Matthew Skladany and Owen Reyes who have four and three goals respectively, while their defense is anchored by the duo of Brady Brown and Thomas Getz.

OAC Tournament History

Mount Union is making their 17th OAC Tournament appearance and have an overall record of 5-13-4, including a run to the title game last season.

Baldwin Wallace is making their 9th OAC Tournament appearance and their first since 2014.

The Raiders and Yellow Jackets have never met in the OAC Tournament.

The winner will advance to the OAC Tournament semifinal and will play either No. 1 seed Ohio Northern or No. 2 seed Otterbein based on the result of the other quarterfinal matchup as the highest remaining seed will head to Otterbein with the lowest remaining seed going to Ohio Northern on Thursday, November 6 at 7 p.m.
