PORT CLINTON, Ohio – Mount Union's men's golf team finished in seventh place after the final round of the Region 5 Showcase at Catawba Island G.C. on Tuesday afternoon.

The Purple Raiders finished with a team score of 644 (321-323) which was just four strokes back of sixth place Albion. Trine won the event with a team score of 613 (304-309).

Freshman Austin Wilhoit (Stow / Stow-Munroe Falls) led the way for Mount Union in round two with a 78, junior Brian Myers (Wadsworth) added an 80. Freshman Austin Mariani (Kinsman / Badger) and sophomore Jax Rogers (Jeromesville / Hillsdale) rounded out the Raiders team score with an 81 and 84 respectively.

This concludes the Raiders fall season, they will be back in action in the Spring for their championship season.
