Women's Swimming: Raiders Swim Past Ohio Northern in OAC Dual

ADA, Ohio – Mount Union's women's swimming and diving team defeated Ohio Northern 177-102 in a dual meet on Saturday afternoon.

Top Finishers
  • 200-yard medley relay: team consisting of junior Ava Breton (Cheshire, Conn.), freshman Hannah Royer (Bristow, Va. / Patriot), junior Erika Fogarty (Dimondale, Mich. / Holt) and junior Emily Hauck (Avon Lake) finished second with a time of 1:58.74
  • 1000-yard freestyle: junior Emma Kreber (Cranberry Twp., Pa. / Seneca Valley) won the event with a time of 11:16.59 and senior Elizabeth Regovich (Willowick / Eastlake North) finished second with a time of 11:43.98
  • 200-yard freestyle: sophomore Abby Calaway (Berea / Berea-Midpark) won the event with a time of 2:01.34 and sophomore Isabelle Parr (Brunswick) finished second with a time of 2:06.82
  • 100-yard backstroke: Breton and freshman Reagan Durbin (Dover) tied for second with a time of 1:04.66
  • 100-yard breaststroke: Royer finished second with a time of 1:15.55
  • 200-yard butterfly: sophomore Nina Veldt (Holland, Mich.) won the event with a time of 2:28.78
  • 50-yard freestyle: Calaway won the event with a time of 25.79
  • One-meter dive: sophomore Claire Fried (Kent / Kent Roosevelt) won the event with a score of 204.25
  • 100-yard freestyle: Calaway won the event with a time of 55.86
  • 200-yard backstroke: Durbin finished second with a time of 2:20.68
  • 200-yard breaststroke: freshman Julia Basista (Youngstown / Boardman) won the event with a time of 2:41.30 and Royer finished second with a time of 2:44.43
  • 500-yard freestyle: Kreber won the event with a time of 5:31.88 and Regovich finished second with a time of 5:40.67
  • 100-yard butterfly: Parr finished second with a time of 1:05.57
  • Three-meter dive: Fried won the event with a score of 191.20
  • 200-yard individual medley: Kreber finished second with a time of 2:23.92
  • 400-yard freestyle relay: team consisting of Parr, Hauck, Regovich and Calaway won the event with a time of 3:48.15
The Raiders hit the road again next when they head to Ashland on Friday, January 19 to take on the Eagles at 6 p.m.
