ALLIANCE, Ohio – Mount Union's women's soccer team lost to Ohio Wesleyan 2-1 in a non-conference matchup on Saturday evening.
The Purple Raiders (3-3-1) were able to strike first when junior

Madeline Boulos (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Deer Lake) off a free kick allowing Boulos to score in the 15
th minute.
The Ohio Wesleyan Bishops (5-2-2) would strike back in the 26
th minute with a goal from Ryan O'Neill allowing the Bishops to tie the game 1-1.
The Bishops scored early in the second half with a goal from Tiffany Trinh to take the lead. The Raiders were unable to answer for the remainder of the second half, allowing Ohio Wesleyan to take the win 2-1.
The Raiders are back home for their first Ohio Athletic Conference matchup against Ohio Northern on Saturday, September 30 at 7 pm.
