LATROBE, Pa.—The Mount Union men's lacrosse team fell on the road 10-6 against St. Vincent Saturday afternoon.
The Purple Raiders (1-1) were led by
Logan Gebhart (McDonald, Pa. / Canon-McMillan) and
Grant Dunmire (Allison Park, Pa. / Hampton) who each had two goals.
St. Vincent (3-0) was led by Jordan Billet who had four goals.
Mount Union got off to a hot start outscoring St. Vincent 3-1 in the first period but a 3-1 second period for St. Vincent tied the game up.
In the second half both teams scored two goals in the third period while the fourth period belonged to St. Vincent outscoring the Raiders 4-0.
Mount Union has its home opener next Wednesday, March 1st at 7 p.m. against Allegheny.
