Women's Soccer: Raiders Drop OAC Match to Capital

ALLIANCE, Ohio -- Mount Union's women's soccer team lost 3-0 to Capital in an Ohio Athletic Conference on Saturday evening. 

The Comets (8-6-1, 3-2-0 OAC) scored on an early goal by Catherine Zugaro in the seventh to gain a 1-0 advantage.

Then, Capital struck again when Grace Estes found the back of the net in the 52nd minute and Nicole Ogden in the 79th minute to stretch the lead to 3-0.

The Purple Raiders (4-7-1, 1-4-0 OAC) were unable to respond and would lose 3-0.

The Raiders will stay home next when they take on Muskingum on Wednesday, October 18 at 7 p.m. in Kehres Stadium.
