Women's Swimming: Raiders Swim Past Allegheny

ALLIANCE, Ohio – Mount Union's women's swimming and diving team defeated Allegheny 165-52 in a dual meet on Friday night.

Top Finishers
  • 200-yard medley relay: team consisting of freshman Jordyn Miller (Strongsville), junior Lauren Hurley (Perry), freshman Kayla Stewart (Marietta) and sophomore Emily Hauck (Avon Lake) finished second with a time of 2:00.06
  • 1000-yard freestyle: sophomore Emma Kreber (Cranberry Twp., Pa. / Seneca Valley) won the event with a time of 11:12.83 and junior Ziv Marco (Buffalo Grove, Ill. / Adlai E. Stevenson) finished second with a time of 11:35.88
  • 200-yard freestyle: freshman Abby Calaway (Berea / Berea-Midpark) won the event with a time of 1:59.85
  • 50-yard freestyle: senior Alexis Schuller (Middleburg Heights / Berea-Midpark) won the event with a time of 25.29 and junior Maddie Horrigan (Hudson) finished second with a time of 25.83
  • 200-yard individual medley: freshman Charlotte Cohagan (Parma / Padua Franciscan) won the event with a time of 2:18.97 and junior Elizabeth Regovich (Willowick / Eastlake North) finished second with a time of 2:29.03
  • 100-yard butterfly: Horrigan won the event with a time of 1:01.97 and freshman Isabelle Parr (Brunswick) finished second with a time of 1:05.05
  • 100-yard freestyle: Calaway won the event with a time of 56.01 and Hauck finished second with a time of 58.90
  • 100-yard backstroke: Schuller finished second with a time of 1:03.16
  • 500-yard freestyle: Kreber won the event with a time of 5:32.88 and Marco finished second 5:41.32
  • One-meter dive: freshman Claire Fried (Kent / Kent Roosevelt) won the event with a score of 198
  • 100-yard breaststroke: Cohagan finished second with a time of 1:13.83
  • 200-yard freestyle relay: team consisting of Cohagan, Schuller, Calaway and Horrigan won the event with a time of 1:43.59
The Raiders are back in action again tomorrow when they host Westminster for Senior Day at 1 p.m. in Hammond Natatorium in Alliance.
