Men's Swimming: Raiders Fall to ONU in OAC Battle

ALLIANCE, Ohio – Mount Union's men's swimming and diving team lost 160.5-133.5 to Ohio Northern in an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup on Saturday afternoon.

Top Finishers
  • 200-yard medley relay: team consisting of sophomore Mason Wilkson (Dayton / Chaminade Julienne), senior Nathan Williams (Columbia, S.C. / Irmo), freshman Hethon Foster (East Haven, Conn.) and freshman Will Dorenkott (Stow / Stow-Munroe Falls) finished second with a time of 1:40.34
  • 1000-yard freestyle: senior Brett Scheib (Gibsonia, Pa. / Hampton) finished second with a time of 10:19.30
  • 200-yard freestyle: freshman Lucas Starling (Lexington) finished second with a time of 1:47.75
  • 100-yard backstroke: Wilkson won the event with a time of 55.43 and Dorenkott tied for second with a time of 56.04
  • 100-yard breaststroke: freshman Jacob Hathaway (Lexington) finished second with a time of 1:02.76
  • 200-yard butterfly: sophomore Michael Hubbard (Springfield, Va.) won the event with a time of 2:00.39
  • 100-yard freestyle: Hathaway finished second with a time of 48.80
  • 200-yard backstroke: Williams won the event with a time of 1:58.83 and Wilkson finished second with a time of 2:02.86
  • 200-yard breaststroke: sophomore Emmett Martin (Canton, Mich. / Plymouth) finished second with a time of 2:26.85
  • 500-yard freestyle: sophomore Dylan Cossin (Stow / Stow-Munroe Falls) won the event with a time of 4:54.24
  • 100-yard butterfly: junior Eli Holm (Murrysville, Pa. / Franklin Regional) finished second with a time of 54.57
  • 200-yard individual medley: Williams won the event with a time of 2:00.87
  • 400-yard freestyle relay: team consisting of Hathaway, Scheib, senior Jason Tondra (Canton / Jackson) and Starling finished second with a time of 3:14.32
The Raiders hit the road next when they travel to Akron to take on Baldwin Wallace on Friday, January 20 at 6 p.m.
