ALLIANCE, Ohio – Mount Union's women's swimming and diving team beat Oberlin 170-107 in a dual meet on Saturday afternoon.
Top Finishers
- 400-yard medley relay: team consisting of freshman Jordyn Miller (Strongsville), freshman Charlotte Cohagen (Parma / Padua Franciscan), junior Maddie Horrigan (Hudson) and senior Alexis Schuller (Middleburg Heights / Berea-Midpark) won the event with a time of 4:13.45
- 1000-yard freestyle: sophomore Emma Kreber (Cranberry Twp., Pa. / Seneca Valley) won the event with a time of 11:19.60, senior Ziv Marco (Buffalo Grove, Ill. / Adlai E. Stevenson) finished second with a time of 11:28.06
- 200-yard freestyle: freshman Abby Calaway (Berea / Berea-Midpark) won the event with a time 1:58.19, Schuller took second 2:02.65
- 100-yard backstroke: Miller won the event with a time of 1:03.87
- 100-yard breaststroke: Cohagen won the event with a time of 1:13.01
- 200-yard butterfly: freshman Nina Veldt (Holland, Mich.) won the event with a time of 2:23.58, freshman Isabelle Parr (Brunswick) finished second with a time of 2:27.40
- 50-yard freestyle: Calaway won the event with a time of 25.31, Horrigan finished second with a time of 25.58
- 100-yard freestyle: Calaway won the event with a time 54.79, Horrigan finished second with a time 57.80
- 200-yard backstroke: Schuller won the event with a time of 2:16.10, Miller finished second with a time of 2:18.67
- 200-yard breaststroke: Cohagen won the event with a time of 2:41.59
- 500-yard freestyle: Marco finished second with a time of 5:36.21
- 100-yard butterfly: Horrigan won the event with a time of 1:03.09
