HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Mount Union Men's Volleyball team dropped two games on day two at Juniata (Pa.) College.
In the first match Mount Union (0-3) fell to Stevenson (Md.) (4-2) 25-14, 25-18 and 25-13.
Leading Mount Union was junior
Luke Trzeciak (Cranberry, Pa. / Seneca Valley) who finished with eight kills.
Sophomore setter
Caleb Dawson (Harmony, Pa. / Seneca Valley) and freshman
Will Heeney (Hudson / Walsh Jesuit) had 8 and 7 assists.
Senior libero
Steven Grenier (Hawthorn Woods, Ill. / Lake Zurich) and junior outside hitter
Cameron Ternent (Canal Fulton / Massillon Jackson) led the team with nine digs.
The second game Mount Union was defeated by Junaita (Pa.) (2-2) 25-12, 25-20, 25-17.
Ternet led the Raiders in kills with nine with a hitting percentage .250.
Dawson paced Mount Union in assists with 11 on the day while Grenier was the team leaders with five digs.
Mount Union takes a small break until the home opener on Friday, February 4th at 7 p.m. against Eastern Mennonite (Va.).
