BEREA, Ohio – Mount Union men's lacrosse team lost 23-10 against Baldwin Wallace in Ohio Athletic Conference play Saturday afternoon.

The Purple Raiders (3-3, 2-2) were led by Eli Ciotti (Canonsburg, Pa. / Linsly, W.Va.) scoring four goals and adding one assist.

Alex Ellison (Uniontown / Lake), Matt Bisono (Deer Park, N.Y. / Deer Park), Logan Gebhart (McDonald, Pa. / Canon-McMillan), Jacob Dodd (Ridgley, Md. / North Caroline), Justin Kroeger (Mentor) and Mark Zusman (Willoughby / Willoughby South) all scored one goal.

Gunner MacMillan scored six goals while Jake Nanosky had five goals to lead Baldwin Wallace (7-0, 5-0).

Baldwin Wallace scored the first goal until Dodd got Mount Union on the board losing 4-1 after the first period.

The Raiders got a goal in the second half from Ciotti while Baldwin Wallace had runs of 2-0 and 5-0 to take an 11-2 lead into the half.

Mount Union had three goals in the third period with two goals from Ciotti and one from Ellison.

Mount Union finished the final quarter outscoring Baldwin Wallace 5-3 but was not enough in the loss. The Raiders had five different scorers with Ciotti, Bisono, Gebhart, Kroger and Zusman.

Mount Union stays on the road to take on Muskingum next Wednesday, April 7th at 7 p.m. New Concord.
