Mount Union took off on a quick run over Capital in the first set as they captured the win 25-7 off a 7-0 run and an attack error by the Crusaders. In set two, Capital kept close with the Raiders as they went back-and-forth, but Mount Union was able to sneak through and secure the second set win off a kill by Ellesin as they went 25-21. The Raiders went on a 10-0 run to start the third set as Thomas dished out each serve. Capital began to chip away, but another kill by Ellesin secured the set and match win 25-18 for the Raiders.

The Raiders came off the break still hot as they held Capital to 16 in the first set securing the win 25-16. An 11-0 run at the beginning of the second set had the Radiers hot as they forced a Capital timeout. Mount Union was able to maintain the momentum as they captured the second set 25-10. In the third set, the Raiders again took advantage of finding gaps in the Capital defense as they held them to 13 and securing the set and match win off an ace by Thomas 25-13.
