WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Mount Union's women's soccer team lost their Ohio Athletic Conference opener 2-0 at Otterbein on Saturday afternoon.
The Cardinals (7-1, 1-0 OAC) scored with just 14 seconds left in the first half off a goal by Mackenzie Peeke, to take a 1-0 halftime lead. Bailey Zanella then extended the Cardinals lead by finding the back of the net in the 64th minute.

Rylee Oldfield (Liberty Twp. / Lakota East) had seven saves in the game.
The loss drops the Raiders to 4-4-1 overall on the season and 0-1 in OAC play.
The Raiders are back in action Wednesday, October 6 at 7 p.m. when they host John Carroll at Mount Union Stadium.
