ADA, Ohio - The Mount Union women's swimming and diving team fell to Ohio Athletic Conference opponent Ohio Northern 163-112 Saturday afternoon. 

The Purple Raiders (3-4, 1-2 OAC) were led by freshman Alexis Schuller (Middleburg Heights / Berea-Midpark) taking first place in the 200 and 500-yard freestyle with times of 2:04.06 and 5:29.62.

Other first place finishes came from freshman Grace Bjordahl (Yucaipa, Calif. / River Springs) in the 200-yard butterfly swimming a 2:27.32 and junior Maggie Gyurke (Bellevue / St. Mary Central Catholic) in the 100-yard butterfly recording a time of 1:04.21. 

Junior Sarah Hrycyk (Massillon / Jackson) claimed first in the 1 Meter diving competition scoring a 188.45. 

The Raiders return home Saturday, Jan. 18 to take on Wilmington in another OAC match-up.
