ALLIANCE, Ohio – Mount Union's men's lacrosse team scored a season-high 17 goals in a 17-5 win over Wilmington in an Ohio Athletic Conference game Friday at Mount Union Stadium.

Matt Bisono (Deer Park, N.Y.) and Logan Addonizio (Wixom, Mich. / Walled Lake Western) each had three goals and an assist as 11 different Purple Raiders scored to push their record to 6-7 overall and 4-3 in the OAC.

Connor Judge scored three goals to lead Wilmington (2-11, 0-7 OAC).

Seniors Hunter Holt (Cranberry, Pa. / Seneca Valley), Jake Krone (Hudson), Declan McCartin (Centreville, Md. / Queen Anne's County), Javin Re (Chantilly, Va.), Anthony Cacciavillano (Clarksboro, N.J. / Kingsway Regional), Grant Elffers (Hudson), Nicholas Sadd (Avon Lake) and Spencer Cline (Hilliard / Hilliard Davidson) were all honored before the game.

Mount Union scored a pair of goals in the game's first three minutes from Addonizio and Alex Ellison (Uniontown / Lake). Wilmington got on the board at the 9:51 mark but the Raiders finished the quarter with four goals – two from Bisono and one each from Holt and McCartin to make it 6-1.

Elffers scored 31 seconds into the second quarter to push the Mount Union lead to 7-1 and Wilmington came back 2:30 later with a man-up goal that made it 7-2. Goals by Holt and Re took the score to 9-2 and the Quakers got another goal with three minutes left in the quarter. Addonizio then scored with just 16 seconds before halftime and Mount Union led 10-3.

Christian Casto (Hurricane, W.Va.) found the back of the net with 9:05 left in the third quarter which gave Mount Union an 11-3 lead. Wilmington got a man-down goal a minute later and Alek Kungle (Hartville / Lake) later scored to give Mount Union a 12-4 lead at the end of the third quarter.

Mount Union started the final quarter with goals from Jacob Dodd (Ridgley, Md. / North Caroline), Addonizio and Casto that made the score 15-4. Wilmington notched its fifth goal with just over seven minutes left. Bisono and Dominic Lazzini (McDonald, Pa. / South Fayette) then scored to finish the scoring for the 17-5 final.

Mount Union stays home to host Baldwin Wallace in the regular season home finale Wed., Apr. 24 at 7 p.m. at Mount Union Stadium.
