ALLIANCE, Ohio-- Mount Union's women soccer team lost 6-0 against No. 20 Ohio Northern in the final regular season Ohio Athletic Conference game Saturday night.

Mount Union finishes the season 1-7-1 in the OAC and 5-10-2 overall while Ohio Northern improves to 9-0 and 15-2-2 overall.

The Purple Raiders honored their five seniors, Abbie Andrews (Broadview Heights), Lauren Beech (Hanoverton / United Local), Maria DeFranco (Twinsburg), Julia Krause (Mantua / Crestwood), and Maggie O'Donnell (Avon), before the game.

Ohio Northern got four goals in the first half in the 5th, 30th, 36th, and 39th minute while scoring two other goals in the second half in the 47th and 63rd minutes.

Mount Union's seniors left their mark on the program with the first and only NCAA tournament appearance for the Purple Raiders when they were freshman.
