WOOSTER, Ohio -- Mount Union's women's swimming and diving team lost to Wooster by a final score of 187-97 Saturday afternoon in the Timken Natatorium.
The Raiders got individual wins from four different swimmers on the afternoon. Senior Dana Lautenschleger (Solon) and junior Regina Saxon (Hudson) both recorded two wins on the day for the Raiders.
Lautenschleger won the 1000 yard freestyle along with the 500 yard freestyle with times of 10:49.22 and 5:19.74, respectively. Saxon recorded wins in the 100 and 200 yard breastroke with times of 1:11.38 and 2:34.31, respectively.
Also recording wins on the afternoon was junior Lauren Oktavec (Brunswick) in the 200 yard backstroke with a time of 2:11.42 and sophomore Erin Bain (Beaver Falls, Pa./Blackhawk) in the 100 IM with a time of 1:05.58.
Next up for the Raiders is another road matchup as they travel to Westminster next Saturday, February 3 at 1 p.m.
