Box Score 2 BEREA, Ohio-- The University of Mount Union softball team dropped a pair of games-- 1-0 and 2-0-- to Baldwin Wallace Saturday in the final Ohio Athletic Conference road game.
The Purple Raiders (11-19, 4-12 OAC) struggled to get the bats moving as the got just six hits on the day.
In game one, Baldwin Wallace earned the only run of the game for either team with a single up the middle driving in one runner as both teams had just two hits in the game as the Yellow Jackets took game one, 1-0.
In game two, both teams remained scoreless until Baldwin Wallace capitalized on two Mount Union throwing errors scoring two runs.
BW went on to take game two, 2-0.
Mount Union next hosts Wilmington in the final game of the season Saturday, April 25 at 1 pm at 23rd Street Field in Alliance.
