ALLIANCE, Ohio - Mount Union's men's lacrosse team picked up their second win of the season, a 13-3 win over Thiel (Pa.) on Saturday at Mount Union Stadium.

The Purple Raiders (2-3) were led by Hogan Harris (Medina/Medina) who doubled up his goal total this season with five goals. Michael Taylor (Broadview Heights/Brecksville) and Chris Daley (Wilmington, Del./DuPont) added two goals each in the win.

Collin Peters (Portland, Ore./Sunset) made 13 saves on 16 shots on goal for the Raiders.

Thiel (3-2) was led by Timothy O'Shea who scored two of the team's three goals.

Thiel got on the board first as O'Shea scored the first goal of the game at the 9:14 mark of the first quarter. Mount Union's Taylor tied the game at 1-1 at the end of the first quarter.

Toren Moore (Columbus/Hilliard Darby) gave Mount Union the lead with his second goal of the season before O'Shea scored again to tie the score at 2-2. The Raiders scored three unanswered goals to take a three goal lead but Thiel scored with 2:43 remaining to make the halftime score 5-3.

The second half was the Hogan Harris show as he scored five straight goals for Mount Union to give the Raiders a commanding 12-3 lead. Nick West (Newton, N.J./Kittatinny Regional) scored his first collegiate goal with 6:21 left in the game to make the final score 13-3.

The men's lacrosse team looks to stay on the winning path as they host the College of Wooster on Sunday, March 22 at home.
