Box Score BETHANY, W.Va. -- Mount Union's men's lacrosse team won its fifth straight game with a 20-4 win at Bethany Wednesday in Bethany, West Virginia
The Purple Raiders are now 6-3 overall on the season while Bethany falls to 3-7 overall.
Mount Union got a season-high four goals from Toren Moore (Columbus/Hilliard Darby), while Michael Taylor (Broadview Hts/Brecksville-Broadview Hts) had three goals and an assist and Chris Daley (Wilmington, Del./Dupont) had a goal and three assists.
Hogan Harris (Medina/Medina) also had five ground balls for the Raiders.
Harris and Moore started the scoring with a pair of goals in the first three minutes of the game before Bethany closed the gap to 2-1 at the nine minute mark of the first quarter.
Mount Union then scored six unanwsered goals to lead 8-1 at the break.
The teams traded two goals each in the first seven minutes of the third quarter to give Mount Union a 10-3 lead.
The Raiders then scored seven straight goals before Bethany got on the board again then Mount Union closed it out with two more scores and the 20-4 win.
Mount Union next plays on Wednesday, April 2 at 7 pm against LaRoche (Pa.) at Mount Union Stadium.
