Box Score

LATROBE, Pa. -- Mount Union's Josh Stephens (North Canton/Green) scored with 29 seconds left to rally the Purple Raiders to a 12-11 victory at St. Vincent Saturday in Latrobe, Pa.

Stephens capped a furious rally as Mount Union (1-1) trailed 11-8 with eight minutes left in the game.

Hogan Harris (Medina/Medina) started the rally with his team-best third goal of the game off an assist from Stephens at the 7:25 mark.

Jack Wesner (Medina/Medina) tied the game off a feed from Michael Taylor (Broadview Heights/Brecksville-Broadview Hts.) with just 1:40 left in regulation.

St. Vincent (0-1) would then score two-straight before Stephens tied the game with 8:17 to play in the first quarter.  The Bearcats would then put three more on the board to lead 5-2 after one.

Mount Union would tie the game with three-straight goals in the second quarter as Harris, Josh Bender (Delaware/Delaware Hayes) and Toren Moore (Columbus/Hilliard Darby) would each score.

St. Vincent would score again before Evan Bauer (Maineville/Cincinnati Moeller) scored to tie the game at 6-6 at halftime.

The Bearcats again regained the lead with a score early in the third quarter before Moore and Harris scored and it was 8-7 Mount Union at the end of the period.
