Ohio Northern scored first in the game when Shelby Stevens placed a crossed ball in the back of the net giving the Polar Bears the 1-0 lead heading into halftime.
Another goal for the Polar Bears in the second half would lead to the 2-0 final score.
Ohio Northern outshot Mount Union 22-5 with senior goalkeeper Maria Favorite (Chesterland/Notre Dame Cathedral Latin) making nine saves.
