Box Score ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Mount Union women's soccer team ended Saturday afternoon's game with a 1-1 draw against Heidelberg in its Ohio Athletic Conference regular season finale.
Prior to the start of the match, the team honored their two seniors, Sarah Tubbesing (Parma/Parma) and Janey Fulk (Brunswick/Holy Name).
The Purple Raiders are now 12-5-2 overall and 5-3-1 in the OAC, while Heidelberg is now 3-14-2 overall and 2-6-1 in the conference.
The Berg's Bethany Maltern struck first to put Heidelberg up 1-0 in the ninth minute and the lone goal would hold for the remainder of the first half.

Mount Union's defense held Heidelberg to only three shots the entire match.
Mount Union awaits their seeding in the OAC Tournament, but will play in the first round on Tuesday, November 5.
