ALLIANCE, Ohio -- Mount Union volleyball stretched its winning streak to 11 matches with a sweep over Marietta in Ohio Athletic Conference Action at the McPherson Academic and Athletic Complex on Wednesday. The Purple Raiders won sets, 25-18, 25-13, 25-14, which added onto another run -- 28 consecutive set victories.

Monica Hupertz (Willoughby Hills/Beaumont) led the Raider attack with 15 kills. Roni Schroeder (Shelby/Shelby) added 13 kills and five blocks.

Also for Mount Union, Sarah Dean (Strongsville/Walsh Jesuit) and Kristen Gromes (Navarre/Fairless) contributed 12 and 10 digs, respectively. Julie Radigan (Olmsted Falls/Olmsted Falls) made 29 assists.

Meredith Storey had six kills for Marietta (5-13, 0-2)

The Purple Raiders (12-4, 2-0) will return to action on Saturday when they visit Ohio Northern. The match is scheduled for 1 p.m.
