ADA, Ohio -- Mount Union's women's soccer team dropped a 5-0 decision to Ohio Northern on Saturday.

The host Polar Bears took a 2-0 halftime lead with goals by Natalie White and Sandy Plunkett in the first and 11th minutes, respectively.

Sami Atkinson and Tara Tokar added scores in the second half. Ohio Northern also benefited from an own goal by the Purple Raiders.

In net, Aubree Lieberman (Cleveland Heights/Cleveland Heights) and Taryn Vespoint (Ravenna/Ravenna) made four saves apiece for Mount Union.

Erin Waehner had one stop for the Polar Bears.

The Raiders will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 9. They will host Marietta at 2:30 p.m.
