ALLIANCE, Ohio -- Mount Union's volleyball team earned a 3-0 sweep of Ohio Athletic Conference foe Baldwin-Wallace on Tuesday at the McPherson Academic and Athletic Complex, moving itself to the brink of OAC Tournament qualification.

Roni Schroeder (Shelby/Shelby) had 10 kills and three total blocks in the Purple Raiders' 25-10, 25-22, 25-11 decision.

Monica Hupertz (Willoughby Hills/Beaumont) added nine kills, Julie Radigan (Olmsted Falls/Olmsted Falls) made 31 assists and Sarah Dean (Strongsville/Walsh Jesuit) contributed 13 digs to the Mount Union effort.

Christine Frazier (Westverville/Westerville North) also had three total blocks for the Raiders, who opened the match with seven straight points.

Shannon Deleur was the top Yellow Jacket attacker with five kills. Casey Passen had 11 assists and Taylor Burns made eight digs for B-W (17-12, 2-4).

Mount Union (18-8, 4-2) will return to action on Saturday with a 1 p.m. match at OAC opponent Capital. A Purple Raider win would secure a spot in the OAC Tournament.
