Women's Soccer Defeats Marietta

The Purple Raiders are now 5-12-1 overall and 2-6 in the OAC, while the Marietta Pioneers fall to 5-10-1 overall and 2-6 in the OAC.

The Pioneer's scored first on a header by Jennifer Wilder off of a corner kick from Tessa Harlow.

The Raider's responded with a goal by Sophomore Kelly Aughinbaugh (Aurora/Aurora) in the 50th minute of the game.  The second goal was also posted by Aughinbaugh in the 72nd minute off an assist from sophomore Jennifer Sprandel (Green/Green).

Senior goalkeeper Kaitlyn Mallernee (Dover/Dover) had eight saves giving her 95 saves on the year.

Mount Union plays its last game of the season against Heidelberg Saturday at 2 pm at Mount Union Stadium in Alliance.
